Our Mission

At Esther C. Foundation Ltd., our mission is to extend a helping hand to those in need and empower young students, aspiring entrepreneurs along with other big thinkers from the Philippines who are less fortunate with funding and donations from anyone inspired by the cause.

We believe in the power of giving back to the community on the international level, through our organization, we aim to make a positive impact on the lives of individuals for the future of our society.

Our Motivation

The Philippines is home to more than 25 million impoverished people. The bulk of those living below the poverty line are adolescents. Young people are underprivileged in many spheres of life, including inadequate access to healthcare, inadequate education, poverty brought on by natural disasters, and poor salaries, all of which contribute to psychological effects and a lack of drive to find solutions for their situation. Numerous young people are drawn to drugs, gangs, and cartels as a result of these effects.

Our children are the future of our society, and these terrible circumstances have inspired us to give back to them. We hope to assist, encourage, and fight for our children who are the future leaders, physicians, legislators, engineers, and all other professions in between.

Our Future aspirations for the organization:

Why specifically are we funding Fhilipino students?

Esther Zafran, the organization’s founder, stated that she believes young Filipinos could be successful in the United States in any field of interest. Whether it be through a career, going to school, or coming up with new ideas! She feels that young people in the Philippines should have the same opportunities to succeed as students in the United States. She is certain that young Filipinos, have the perseverance and work ethic necessary to succeed.

Funding students to the United States:

One of our main goal’s is to use donations to pay for students' travel from the Philippines to the U.S. We aspire for students to receive funding for everything from legal documents, housing, tuition, transportation, and all other expenses.

How will your donations help us?

Every penny that we raise will support everything from the smallest to the largest needs for students, including a visa, legal papers, food, housing, transportation, and numerous other necessities.

Is there a specific donation that should be given?

Absolutely not! Nothing is too big or small to contribute to making the lives of those who are less fortunate better.

What are we offering these students?

For students we are offering everything we can with the funding available from housing, food, basic utilities, transportation and overall a better opportunity for pursuing education in the states. Rather than students who are less fortunate worrying about their next meal, transportation, and ways to pay for their education we offer to provide all of their needs.

Who are we? Why have we started this non-profit organization?

This is a family ran organization, we all have the intentions to give back to the community so every young person can strive in the next generations to come.

About Founder:

Ester C. Zafran, a Dumaguete, Philippines, native, was inspired by her upbringing and life experiences to start a foundation that will provide funding for young Filipinos pursuing higher education in the United States. This will enable them to pursue greater opportunities and pathways in life, enabling them to be the best versions of themselves. The foundation will also support young entrepreneurs and other big thinkers. Arriving in the United States on August 3rd, 1999, Mrs. Zafran looks back on the educational, financial, and lifestyle opportunities that the United States had provided her and all other immigrants. Mrs. Zafran started sending money back home to the Philippines in 2018 to give back to the less fortunate in the ways of paying for individuals health expenses, medications, food, water and other utilities—all to inspire her to give back more in the way of creating her own foundation. She continues by sharing her aspiration for every young Filipino, stating, “My dream for every young student is for them to come to the states, seize every chance that comes their way, and go through life to the fullest." I once heard the saying, "Opportunities pass; they don't pause." Therefore, if you have the chance to visit the states with funding, take every opportunity the states have to offer. Young people from disadvantaged backgrounds will be able to take advantage of opportunities thanks to funds provided by individuals worldwide.”
